Overview
The BG530 is a 4G LTE public-network radio that carries voice, pictures, video and positioning over the carrier network instead of your own repeaters. Users separated by a city or a region speak as if they were on the same site, giving a dispersed operation one network rather than a growing chain of radio sites.
Positioning
- Carrier coverage: coverage follows the cellular network, with no repeater site to build or maintain.
- DMR contrast: a DMR system is licensed frequencies, repeater sites and maintenance, independent of cellular, with coverage ending at that infrastructure.
- Best fit: operations spread across a service area rather than concentrated on one site.
- One network: sales teams, field crews and control rooms work from one operation instead of a chain of radio sites.
- Typical users: public safety and law enforcement support units, urban management, airports and rail operations, property management, logistics fleets and large industrial parks.
Network and SIM
- 4G LTE: public-network PTT wherever the carrier provides coverage.
- Dual SIM dual standby: a second SIM works as standby or as a second operator.
- Continuity: a weak network does not end the shift.
- Dependency: cellular signal, a SIM with a data plan and a platform subscription are required.
- No repeater: no private infrastructure to install or maintain.
- Licence: in most markets the requirement is the SIM and data plan rather than a separate radio licence; confirm locally.
Core functions
- Noise cancellation: AI intelligent noise cancellation cleans the transmit audio.
- Cameras: front and rear HD cameras send pictures or video clips into the group.
- Positioning: multiple positioning modes with satellite positioning keep every terminal visible.
- Short-range: NFC and Bluetooth support access cards and headsets.
- Recording: call recording keeps a retrievable record of traffic.
- Services: voice, images, video and positioning all travel over the carrier network.
Dispatching
- Trunking dispatch: platform-side trunking dispatch management handles group structure.
- Group media: users send voice, pictures and video into the same group.
- Fleet visibility: positioning keeps every terminal visible to the dispatcher.
- Escalation: an emergency alarm key provides one-press reporting.
Durability
- IP68 protection: dust and water protection for field conditions.
- Endurance: the published 24-hour battery figure covers long field rotations.
- Shift continuity: dual SIM keeps a user reachable when one network weakens.
Ordering and OEM
- SIM plan: a 4G SIM card and data plan per terminal.
- Dual SIM use: two SIMs per unit if the dual standby design is to provide real redundancy.
- Platform: a subscription and dispatch account on your chosen mainstream PoC platform.
- Group structure: tell us how many groups and users the dispatch structure will contain.
- Infrastructure: no repeater or private infrastructure is required; confirm local SIM and network rules with your importer.
- OEM: branding, packaging and quantity are confirmed before the order is booked.

Frequently asked questions

How does coverage compare with a conventional DMR radio?
A DMR radio covers what your own repeaters cover. The BG530 covers what the cellular network covers, which is normally far larger, and needs no repeater of your own. Where cellular coverage is absent — remote sites, deep structures — a conventional radio is still the right tool, and we supply both types.
Do we need SIM cards and a data plan?
Yes. Every terminal needs a 4G SIM card and a data plan, and the fleet needs a subscription and dispatch account on your PoC platform. Two SIMs per unit are recommended if you want the dual SIM dual standby design to provide real redundancy.
Is a radio licence required?
The BG530 works as a PoC terminal on the carrier network, so in most markets the requirement is the SIM and the data plan rather than a separate radio licence for the user. Licensing rules differ by country, so confirm the local position with your importer or our team.
Can it be connected to our existing DMR fleet?
The BG530 is a public network terminal and does not have a conventional digital or analog module, so it does not talk directly to DMR handsets on licensed channels. If your operation needs both worlds on one device, choose a converged model from the same catalogue; tell us your system and we will confirm the option.
What does the camera add in daily use?
It moves evidence and status reporting onto the same device as voice. A patrol user can photograph a fault, a delivery state or a site condition and send it to the group or the dispatcher instead of describing it over the air.
Can we order it with our own branding?
OEM and ODM support is available. Send the logo files, packaging requirements and target quantity, and our team will confirm what can be customised on this model.
